After spending 2022 working on the orchestral pieces featured on this site, reworking all the counterpoint exercises in “Free Counterpoint” and also learning about the new technique of Full SIte Editing in WordPress in order to bring this site itself to life, 2023 is going to be year with plenty of focus on Orchestration.
There’s no shortage of practice material and I am using Samuel Adler’s “Workbook for The Study Of Orchestration”, which goes alongside the main textbook.
